Campsites Chosen by Scouts usually have a unique experience or activity to offer!
The troop provides all troop and patrol camping gear. Troop 903 owns and maintains a trailer to store and transport gear (e.g., tents, ground cloths, cookware, propane, stoves, charcoal, dining flies, axes, saws, coolers, rope and twine, lanterns, water coolers).
Each scout must provide his own basic “personal gear” (e.g., backpack, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, mess kit, flashlight, first aid kit, and water bottle). A complete personal gear list for various types of weather conditions and activities is provided in the Scouts BSA Handbook.
