ABOUT US
Active since 1919, we have produced over 180 Eagle Scouts while allowing our young adults to learn both practical and mental life skills. We are proud of our commitment to this endeavor and our active adult volunteers who help make this happen. Our scouts are diverse in backgrounds, interests and personalities, but all are engaged in utilizing the scout program to help fulfill their ambitions and develop friendships while having lots of fun along the way.
Second Presbyterian Church in Bloomington, IL, is the troop's chartered organization. The church graciously allows us to meet weekly, store our gear, park our trailer, and use the facilities for special events—all free of charge. We deeply appreciate this incredible benefit.

SCOUT EXPECTATIONS
We offer our young men fun and friendship, give them a chance to set and reach their own goals, allow them to be independent and responsible, and provide a complement to family life. To accomplish these, we ask each Scout to…
Set a good example by having a positive attitude, wearing the scout uniform correctly, showing patrol spirit, and expecting the best from yourself and others.
Work with others in the troop to make the troop go.
Devote the time necessary to be successful by participating in as many troop meetings and outdoor activities as possible, and spending sufficient time preparing for these events.
Have fun learning new skills and working on advancements to the best of your ability.
Live by the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
